Our History
Ozdem Distribution was born as a company in 2001 by our founder Yasar. As an A Grade electrician who was tired of the ever-growing price increases and lack of alternative brands to Clipsal and HPM, had hatched up a plan and put all his resources into developing a new range of Switches and Powerpoints at much more affordable pricing. His journey, one of very many, took him to China where he would develop tooling, get approvals and begin manufacturing. With each prototype, he strived to constant and continually keep upgrading and updating the product until it was as good if not better then Clipsal and HPM.
In 2004 Ozdem became the first independent wholesaler to import Clipsal/ HPM alternative products. Due to our success, we opened a small sales office in Hallam, with the plan to have to expand which we did by opening various branches across Victoria including in Moorabbin, Turkey Istanbul and Shenzhen China.
Fast forward 19 years, Ozdem Distributions is still family run and still family operated.
